Cannenta.
What Does It Mean?

Cannenta has Latin origins and means, “a woman possessing healing powers.” Though we don’t claim to have “healing powers,” we do have evidence-based techniques and tactics to empower you on your journey to heal yourself.

In 2020, Dr. Leti saw a need for more culturally sensitive services to diverse individuals and marginalized groups. These people lacked a place that understood them and could help them heal while exploring their generational and cultural traumas along with ethnic perspectives around their mental health.

In 2021, this gap in services led her to establish the Cannenta Center for Healing and Empowerment, which is comprised of a diverse group of minority practitioners who can walk the healing journey with clients while understanding the influences that shaped their life perspectives.

Our prayer is, through an inclusive trauma-informed lens, our practitioners can provide guidance for healing to everyone who receives our services.

 Meet Our Team

If you’re searching for counseling and mental health services in the DFW area or in San Antonio, then look no further than our professionals here at Cannenta Center. We are a young startup center; however, our practitioners have decades of clinical experience and are passionate about sharing skills, knowledge, and their own cultural understanding to those who typically do not seek out mental health services or find it challenging to find an accommodating practitioner. With that in mind, we decided to offer our services in English, Spanish and even ASL. In the end, our heart is to make counseling accessible to everyone who wants it, so not only do we offer multiple languages, but we even offer lower prices than the industry standard and provide evening and weekend hours.

We want to join you on this precious journey to positive mental health.
