I'm Amy Melendez, a passionate and dedicated bilingual (Spanish) Licensed Master Social Worker. With a strong foundation in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington, where I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees specializing in direct practice with children and families.

I've had the incredible opportunity to serve low socioeconomic immigrant families, particularly within the vibrant Latinx community. My career in case management and nonprofit advocacy has been driven by a deep commitment to empowering these families, helping them navigate challenges and amplify their voices.

I'm dedicated to mental health and am thrilled to support multicultural clients as they confront mental health hurdles. I strive to create an environment where their strengths can truly flourish. My greatest passion is serving my community, especially the Latinx community and those who need it most. I am committed to empowering others, providing the support they need to build coping skills, and helping them discover their strengths and confidence.

Growing up in Dallas, Texas, I am deeply connected to my hometown's diverse culture. I'm always eager to learn and expand my skill set, and in my free time, I love diving into new hobbies and embracing exciting new experiences.
